FAA Requirements
40 Total Hours (Minimum)
10 hrs Solo Flight Time
- 5 hrs of Cross-Country
- 1 Solo Cross-Country
- 150 nm minimum distance
- 3 Full-Stop Landings
- 1 leg greater than 50 nm
- 3 hrs of instrument training
- 3 T/O’s and LND’s at towered airport
20 hrs Dual Instruction with CFI
- 3 hrs of Cross-Country
- 3 hrs of Night Flight Training
- 1 Cross-Country > 100 nm total distance
- 10 Takeoffs and Landings to a Full Stop
- 3 hrs of instrument training
- 3 hrs flight training for checkride prep
Additional Requirements
- Minimum age: 17
- English Proficiency
- 3rd Class Medical Certificate
- Pass FAA Knowledge Test
- Pass FAA Practical Tests

All rates are subject to change without prior notice. Aircraft rental and instruction are billed based on Hobbs time, unless otherwise specified. Fuel surcharges may apply. Published package prices are estimates only; actual costs will vary based on student proficiency, scheduling, weather, and FAA minimums. Additional instruction beyond minimums will be billed at the standard hourly rate. Payment is due at time of service unless prior arrangements have been approved in writing. Unused funds are refundable, less any outstanding balances or fees.
